Evolution in Rebirth

One of my most treasured and personal series. This project was an act of self love, reclamation of autonomy and gratitude for my ever evolving beauty. 

In 2018 I was miss prescribed a medication and this end with me experiencing varying adverse effects. Some of the effects directly impacted my scalp and hair, this lead me to choose to cut my hair off completely. As an act of self reclamation and autonomy in our own way my Mom and I ceremonially shaved my head opening a new chapter. A rebirthing of self.

As clouser, I decide to create Evolution in Rebirth. A celebration of my ever evolving beauty and ability to rise, adapt and overcome in any situation. The series also helped me learn to love every form my physical vessel takes in this life.
